Regional Coordinators

Welcome Rhiannon Wilmott, who is our new Messy Regional Coordinator for Southampton in Hampshire. Rhiannon coordinates a Messy Church at St Denys SO17 and wishes to encourage anyone in the region to contact her for support and prayers.

Welcome to Rev Moira Astin, our new Regional Coordinator for NW Lincolnshire. Moira is in Scunthorpe where she is hands-on with Messy Churches and passionate about the growth of Fresh Expressions in this region. Please contact Moira for prayer and support.

Exciting news! New Regional Coordinator for New Zealand, Debbie Smith, has a Messy Church website for New Zealand! Messy Church continues to grow overseas and registrations are still coming in thick and fast. As well as registering on our website the NZ Messy Churches can also register on this new website, share stories, enjoy Debbie's Blog and so much more!

Welcome to Debbie Hill, our new Messy Church Regional Coordinator for Cambridgeshire! Debbie is in Ely and has also just started her new Diocesan role as Children's Work Adviser.

Welcome to Kevin Metcalfe who is our new Messy Regional Coordinator for Dorset. Kevin kindly replaces Kat who is taking time out. Kevin is the Children's and Outreach Worker at St John's Church, Wimborne and he has years of Messy experience dating back to his days in N Ireland. Please pray for Kevin as he takes on this voluntary role for us.

Feedback from the two Round Table conferences in Derbyshire

Welcome to Greg Ross and Brenton Prigge in Western Australia! Also Welcome to Sue and Glen Taylor in Queensland, Australia! These enthusiastic people are our new Regional Coordinators in very large regions of Australia and we hope that they will attract even more RCs to help them build teams to support all of the growing number of Messy Churches.

Welcome to Jean Pienaar in Johannesburg and Rev Calvin Frans in George! How exciting to think that just as Fresh Expressions takes off in South Africa, after recent large conferences, we already have great support for the Messy Churches popping up there. Calvin coordinates a large Messy Church in the Western Cape and Jean began the first South African Messy Church by coming across this website! Please pray for Jean and Calvin as Messy Church evolves.

I had an enjoyable visit to Lincolnshire to explore a beautiful county and scoop up four more Messy Church Regional Coordinators. This large region has now been divided into five areas to enable easier support. Welcome to Steve Johnson in the North East of Lincs; Julie Doddrell in the Mid East and Steve and Linda Faber in the South West.

Please contact them if you need prayer or help - visit our Regional Coordinator pages to get in touch.

Jane Butcher, a member of the Barnabas Team and regional coordinator for Messy Church for the Midlands, led a Messy Fiesta on the 20th June. With her mention of the teenagers who came along, I wonder what mileage there is in running a day aimed at teenage leaders?
