Fresh ideas for building a Christ-centred community

If you haven't done so yet, do read our safeguarding page.

One Messy Church helpful sent in their safeguarding documents. These are available to download so you can compare with your own. Laura MacBean writes:

Hi Lucy
Herewith copies of our safeguarding documents if it is any help. We have made our own as we are an ecumenical project with its own constitution ... made up of a Methodist Circuit, a parish church and an independent charity on whose premises we meet.

When BRF and Messy Church are working on any photography or filming we gain written consent from parents / guardians of children.

If you wish to use photographs from your Messy Church for any purpose you need to gain consent from parents / guardians.

We recommend you visit the NSPCC website for detailed information so you can established your own policy on this. You can also download example consent forms.
